There are many reasons why the area near Greer homes is growing so rapidly. Take in the lovely architecture, as there are 40 buildings here on the National Historic Register. A police station, court complex, and Greer City Hall are also located here. City Hall even includes a beautiful events space available for rent for receptions, conventions, and other gatherings. The 12 acre City Park is also located in Greer Station. This is the location of “Tunes in the Park” during the summer. Many other events happen downtown throughout the year such as Greer Family Fest, Oktoberfest, Chili Cook Off, and Wing Fling.
Children living in Greer attend schools in the Greenville County School District or one of the private schools in town. The Greer Branch Library offers many events and programs to youth and adults. Families in town can find other restaurants and amenities for their Greer real estate along Highway 29. This corridor provides fast food, fine dining, department stores, and many other service industries.
